profile

Statement

I studied Fine Art. B.Arts course at Plymouth College of Art and Design and have exhibited throughout the South West of England, South Wales, France and Switzerland.  My work is held in both private and public collections. I also sell my work internationally through a well know Graphics company.

I have created many installation pieces and took part in the South West of England Sculpture trail for many years. I enjoy creating sculpture using wax and bronze and recycled 'found' objects. Recently I have had installation pieces relating to environmental art installed in Leysin, Switzerland. My most notable installation was called 'The Last Supper'.  This was a statement about the perilous state of the world we inhabit due to climate warming and environmental destruction

Recently I have been living in the South of France.  The local salt marshes of Hyères, Var have inspired me to complete several paintings of this exciting, vibrant part of the landscape. The series called 'Les Salins' is being exhibited in a local gallery in the old town of Hyéres.

J'ai étudié les Beaux-Arts, cours B.Arts au 'Plymouth College of Art and Design'.

Jane enjoyed making her house, explaining that it has a "wonderful fluidity and luminosity while creating a harmonious link to its natural surroundings that sparkles and shimmers in the sun while conserving heat and rainwater". Also, in the new Delamore Gallery, 'Zero' the bronze sculpture of a dancer is exhibited'.
